For example when our truck collision shop is repainting a piece of equipment, regardless of the size all windows, door handles, weather-stripping, and windshield, if needed, are removed so the surface can be prepped properly for paint.

If this is not done the new paint will usually start flaking off in just a short time. Other truck body shops often skip this necessary step, often causing paint jobs on vehicles or equipment to start failing resulting in premature rusting after only a couple of weeks. All bare metal must be prepped properly before priming and finish paint application. We have developed a superior, proprietary process we use when prepping metal so the finished jobs we complete will look “new” for many years to come.
